Perfectionism will not achieve perfection. One can spend a lot of time, resources, and energy. Drive your employees to work harder and longer. Seet through midnight bug meetings to evaluate the quality of the product. However, it will not be perfect.
ACCEPTANCE, SHORT ITERATIONS, CONTINUES IMPROVEMENT, and RETROSPECTIVE.
Accept: perfection can not be achieved and likely is not required.
Short Iteration: start with MVP (Minimum viable product) and then improve your product with quick and manageable iteration.
Continues Improvement: make sure each iteration has more value to the customer and improved quality.
Retrospective: always ask what worked well and what failed in the product and the development-release process. Then Repeat and Improve.
Progress may seem slower. However, you will reach close to perfection and customer satisfaction much faster.
